A good restaurant, but definitely not a 4-star establishment due to the uneven balance of flavors. The risotto, for example, has too much cheese, which overwhelms the palate and masks the other flavors, and the aligot is simply a good mashed potato, lacking garlic and, consequently, with too little cheese. Excellent service, ambiance, and presentation of the dishes; otherwise, it deserves 5 stars!

Starter: leek and smoked trout: absolutely excellent! With a lovely shallot vinaigrette.
Dessert: blood orange and blackcurrant puff pastry: delicious!
We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The restaurant is good, but the menu is a bit limited and the bill quickly becomes very expensive with the wines. The decor needs updating and the noise level is unpleasant when the restaurant is full.
The establishment's excellent reputation comes with drawbacks that one could easily do without.

A very good dinner. It's a bistro attached to a fine-dining establishment. The result is delicious and flavorful dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. And in the summer it must be fabulous, as the restaurant is located on the banks of a small river (hence the name). As for dessert, they are particularly proud of their Floating Island for two. And I must admit, it's wonderful; the custard is so smooth and creamy that you'd get up in the middle of the night to eat it.

A truly charming place. I'd heard it was incredible in the summer, but I found the winter atmosphere warm and cozy. The food was delicious, and all the staff were incredibly attentive. Our waiter (I don't know his name, but he's from the Var region) was so kind and attentive—the kind of service we wish we saw more often in restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
