Le bistrot Saint Mathieu sur Quimper

We arrived at 2 pm, and at 1 pm the waitress kindly found us a table. Pleasant staff, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is varied, and the portions are generous. Homemade fries, homemade tartar sauce. I recommend it.

Excellent restaurant! We arrived as a group of nine without a reservation, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cuisine is traditional, homemade, and truly excellent—it's rare these days to find such high-quality home cooking. The setting is simple and very pleasant. A wonderful place in Quimper, which we highly recommend!

A very good restaurant with a simple and friendly atmosphere. The portions are generous and the food is plentiful. As advertised on the menu, everything is homemade, right down to the fries. Seated near the kitchen, we watched our meat being carved and prepared right in front of us. The recommended wine pairing was perfect! The service was quick and friendly. Meat lovers and bistro-style food enthusiasts, add this address to your list. Reservations are recommended.

Very good restaurant, we ate well, the portions were very generous. Meat was carved right in front of us. The only thing missing is a drinks menu. I recommend it.

We ate a goat cheese burger with mussels in blue cheese, accompanied by profiteroles, a great meal in a very pleasant setting.

I haven't had the chance to eat there yet, but the manager is amazing!! Don't hesitate, and go as soon as possible 😁

Passing through Quimper, we stopped at Le St Mathieu (a group of nine). A warm welcome, excellent food (the mussels and fries were superb) with the "homemade" aspect clearly respected. The service was impeccable, in short, top-notch!
