Le Cosy sur Quimper

Pleasant dinner, friendly waiter. Cute restaurant interior. However, I found it odd that the portions weren't equal. We ordered a sardine appetizer, which we shared between two people. We each received five sardines. Meanwhile, the gentleman at the next table had six beautiful ones on his plate for his appetizer... The prawn dish was generously portioned, but ultimately quite large due to the amount of salad... Furthermore, it came with a jarred mayonnaise from a well-known brand... Strange not to make your own mayonnaise... The cocktails were good, but could have been presented much more attractively... And one small drawback, which made our dinner (which we ate inside) somewhat unpleasant, was that people outside smoking were sharing their smoke with us inside... (It goes without saying that this wasn't the restaurant's fault). Overall, it's still a good place, but not necessarily one we'll remember.

A true gem discovered thanks to Google recommendations! Its reputation is well-deserved. What culinary talent! The flavors are perfectly balanced, the combinations are spot-on and original, and you can immediately taste the quality of the fresh ingredients. Everything is homemade, from the appetizer to the petit four that accompanies the coffee. A huge congratulations also to the entire front-of-house team, as dynamic as they are welcoming. Given the numerous trips up and down the stairs, their energy commands respect! Always smiling, attentive, and caring, they fully contribute to making this meal an excellent experience. The setting is warm and cozy, true to the establishment's name. The dishes are as generous as they are delicious. After the main course, you're almost full… but it's impossible to resist the temptation of dessert, given your complete confidence in this flawless culinary experience! A huge congratulations to this passionate team. It's been a long time since I've been so captivated by a restaurant. In my opinion, it is simply one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of discovering in a long time.

This will be the fourth time I've awarded 5 stars 🌟 And believe me, I give them sparingly. So... be warned: exceptional address, exceptional cuisine, exceptional quality, and to top it all off, smiling 😃, efficient, and attentive service. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Quimper. Don't be surprised if you see coins stuck in the stone walls. It's a local custom. REMEMBER TO BOOK (small rooms spread over 3 levels). Kudos to the waiters and waitresses who have to deal with it.

On a Wednesday in July, after the Cornouaille Festival, we decided to try our luck at Le Cosy restaurant. The warm welcome from the lady who said, "We'll find you four seats upstairs," after numerous previous refusals, delighted us. We discovered the small upstairs room, intimate and cozy, just perfect for a family meal. There was a view, a gentle breeze, and no smoking...it was simply perfect. We opted for the three-course set menu, which was more than reasonably priced considering the quality of the dishes that followed. The children's menu was exceptional in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the preparation: delicious fresh fish, homemade fries, creamy pea purée, and an incredible piperade. During our two-week vacation, this was the first restaurant that treated children as real customers, serving them quality food prepared with care—no nuggets or ham rolls without vegetables. The starters were well-balanced and the flavors were just right; the grilled sardines were perfect. The pâté en croûte was generous. The rest of the meal promised to be incredible... and it lived up to expectations. My hake was fresh, flavorful, perfectly complemented by its homemade accompaniments, and let's not even mention the lobster sauce—it was to die for! You can't help but feel the love and respect for the ingredients. It was simply delicious. The wine by the glass was also very good. The desserts were in keeping with the meal: homemade with regional products, with a special mention for the Breton French toast and the little red fruit cake with the gourmet coffee: absolutely divine. We left the restaurant completely satisfied and on cloud nine after having enjoyed one of the best meals in a long time. Thank you for the shared pleasure, the delicious dishes, the warm service, and the family atmosphere. It was perfect and truly exceptional. Can't wait to return from Belgium 🇧🇪

Great food from a very talanted chef . After the boredom of same ol same ol french restaurants, sudenly someone how cookes out of the box. Fresh ingrediants with temporary approach..With the products and culinary route...may i guess he ia lebaneae? Or israeli?
