Lovely place, and the simple yet delicious food suits me perfectly. We often have meals here with friends, and it's reasonably priced. Enough with these meaningless superlatives! Kudos to the staff and the manager.

A very pleasant restaurant by a pond/lake with free-roaming animals 🗽 The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, and you can eat inside or outside on the lovely waterside terrace in Roubaix. Impressive! 👌🙏✨️

Good restaurant, pleasant service. The dishes are very good, quite generous (it's not one of those fancy restaurants that brings you a plate that looks like a work of art but leaves you starving), and you can tell the chef knows his stuff. The single daily special is around twelve euros, and already significantly more refined than what you can find for that price in a typical brasserie (for example, when I went: veal escalope au gratin, ravioli with some kind of cheese). But if it's not to your liking, you'll have to spend a bit more, either à la carte or with the €32 set menu without drinks, for example (e.g., shrimp croquettes as a starter, catch of the day with spelt risotto and baby vegetables in a langoustine sauce, and a "Pavlova" dessert with meringue and mousse that wasn't particularly memorable). The price of drinks is a bit steep.

Excellent food in a beautiful setting...

A truly wonderful place in a lovely setting. We had reserved a table on the terrace by the water, a real bonus. The service was quick and impeccable, with delicious, beautifully presented dishes and excellent value for money.
