Le Bord d'Eau sur Briare

We came to Briare to show our granddaughter the canal bridge and had lunch here, almost by chance. He does things right! The owner, who is also the chef and waiter, offers excellent and generous portions. He's a fun-loving man who knows how to put customers at ease. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic cuisine and the kind of human connection that's become so rare. People chat from table to table. Go without hesitation!

A quality restaurant with a very warm atmosphere

We came for a funeral and stumbled into this restaurant. The owner is a very funny man who takes care of everything. The food was excellent, and the glass of wine was generously poured (which is rare!). The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant last night. We had a wonderful evening. Truly memorable! The owner is fantastic; he does everything himself, from cooking to serving. The dishes are delicious and generous. The owner takes the time to get to know his customers, and we were able to chat about this and that even after the restaurant closed! Go there without hesitation! We've never had such a great time at any other restaurant! Thank you!
