We had a great time as a family! It was perfect!!

An excellent family lunch, accompanied by the boss' humor. Everything was perfect, both the chicken and the tartare were excellent and the Sancerre as well. The restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars! Everything homemade.

We arrived at this restaurant because all the others were full (and thanks to them!!). Very few people in and dead silence in the room. I ask the people present if this is normal, a couple laughs and sympathetically explains to us that the boss/cook/waiter is in the kitchen and is coming. We still went to the kitchen side to announce our presence. We were welcomed with humor, a gentleman who really likes to play with words and who takes pleasure in chatting and laughing with his customers who are up for a timeless moment. We had an unforgettable evening! Everyone in the room started chatting together as if we had come together, the boss joined us. The food was extremely good, entirely homemade and you can feel it but damn I had to ride to the motorbike afterwards 🤣. As said in some comments, I think it is better to leave young children at home, because they are alone, it necessarily takes longer to be served and the children risk getting bored. We will come back, for sure!

Derrière une vitrine sans fioriture se cache une salle de restaurant au cadre très agréable et très bien tenue. Le patron (seul à la cuisine et au service) nous a accueilli d'une façon tout à fait insolite. 19 heures ouverture du restaurant, nous sommes rapidement placés à une table partagée avec un autre couple. L'ensemble des clients arrivent rapidement et la salle est vite pleine. Une ambiance de grande table d'hôte s'installe et les conversations s'activent à toutes les tables. Le patron demande à chacun s'il souhaite un apéritif et des boissons particulières, qu'il sert à tous assez rapidement. Puis une corbeille de pain et une carafe d'eau sont posées sur les tables. Puis viennent les commandes du repas : dans l'ordre d'arrivée, tout le monde passe sa commande et est servi dans un temps tout à fait raisonnable par rapport au nombre de "convives". Tout est frais, fait maison, assaisonné très finement et tout le monde a l'air de se régaler. Nous avons passé une soirée très chouette que nous renouvellerons sûrement à notre prochain passage à Briare. Quel dommage qu'on ne rencontre pas souvent des professionnels de cette carrure pour manger un repas simple aux allures familiales. Merci Sébastien de votre humour et votre professionnalisme.

Very warm welcome, for jokes we don't always know if it's "bacon or pork". For the dishes, nothing to complain about, everything is homemade and very plentiful and delicious. As the boss would say, it's long but it's good. Very good value for money. I recommend. Thank you again for this great and musical evening.

Demandez les prix avant !! Pas de carte et donc aucune visibilité sur les prix !! Ce qui peut vraiment surprendre. Je ne recommande pas
