The food is quite good, but it doesn't stand out given the excellent local produce. What's really disappointing is the service; there's no organization, the plating is half-finished, and the wait is long despite the friendly waiters. The place has real potential, and we weren't disappointed to go, but for the price and the location, the experience leaves much to be desired.

A very pleasant place to sit and have a quiet drink. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and some very good fried chorizo, but the other dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen weren't bad either; they looked good.

We had a fantastic time at dinner here! Delicious mixed charcuterie and cheese board that was so generous it became more than we could eat. The wine was also delicious!! The small intimate street felt wonderful and we left feeling well fed and well cared for. Thank you so much for the lovely evening!

This traditional Périgord bistro is every bit as good as the ones in Lyon.
The food was excellent and the staff super friendly. We personally ate inside (by choice) and frankly, the atmosphere was really lovely.

We had a wonderful meal without a reservation; the setting is superb, we ate on the terrace in a charming little medieval alleyway.

Great tapas restaurant 👍😀
We were looking for a place to eat in Sarlat after the market, and Le Bouchon came along. The tapas platters were incredibly generous (the Périgord platter was amazing).
