Lunch on the terrace, under the sun, at the end of February. A generous sharing platter, and the duck confit was incredibly tender. No dessert, we were too full! Local cuisine, quick service, ideal location and pleasant setting – don't hesitate to stop by.

We had a wonderful time for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the portions were very generous and everything was homemade.

A fantastic find! A very nice restaurant in a perfect location, with a warm atmosphere. The staff are lovely, helpful, and truly attentive. As for the food, everything was delicious: the butternut squash soup and the onion soup were excellent, and the roasted Camembert was a real treat. We especially loved the duck confit—simply excellent! The ribeye steak was very good, and the croque-madame was incredibly generous and indulgent. Special mention also goes to the wine, a wonderful discovery. We had a great time. We'll definitely be back!

We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant in the heart of the lovely town of Saint-Émilion. The staff are charming, smiling, and very attentive. The €23 lunch menu is well-executed with delicious dishes (Camembert and apple bites with a small green salad, duck parmentier, and mango and raspberry cheesecake). A big thank you! We will gladly return.

Fabrique de Macarons

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

25/02/2026: A wonderful weekend at Logis de la Cadene. The welcome was perfect, the location ideal, the decor tasteful, and the sommelier's recommendations excellent!
09/02/2026: A truly beautiful establishment in the heart of Saint-Émilion! We were able to enjoy the 2012 suite, which was absolutely superb. A huge thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome, with a special mention for Tiffany and Marine! We look forward to returning!
