A charming Auvergne setting where you won't get cold! The wood-burning stove provides excellent heat.
As for the main course, the Charolais beef (unfortunately not Salers) was cooked perfectly to our liking. One drawback was the Auvergne stew; the cabbage was practically nonexistent. A shame.
The service was a bit lacking in friendliness, especially upon arrival.

A truly DIVINE experience!
I would go back every day without hesitation.
The traditional ambiance with the wood-burning stove made us feel warm and welcoming from the moment we entered the restaurant.
The waitress who looked after us all evening was attentive and met all our needs. Thank you again!
We ordered a fondue that transported us to heaven, the appetizers were truly exceptional, and the desserts were all perfect.
I would be so grateful to find another establishment as wonderful as yours.

We had raclette there today for 3 people, €75 for boiled potatoes that were overcooked, half a slice of cooked ham, 2 slices of rosette sausage and 1 slice of dry-cured ham (low quality), and a small piece of tasteless cheese, plus two desserts straight from the freezer for an extra €20! Extremely disappointed!

The menu is somewhat disjointed (some prices seem exorbitant while others are reasonable), but this Auvergne bistro gives pride of place to local specialties, especially cheeses. The sharing platters are original, featuring mini pans for toasting your Saint-Nectaire cheeses. The service may seem cold and rather slow, but the waiter is working hard alone and striving to do things properly. The authentic setting inevitably transports you. However, the charcuterie selection could be improved; it doesn't quite live up to the quality that Auvergne has to offer.
