Le Bout Du Monde sur Beaune

31/08/2024: This is a beautiful and very well located hotel in Beaune, just a short walk across the street into the old town. The receptionist was very courteous and showed us to our room. We didn’t request parking in the underground parking, which was full for the night, but we easily found free parking across the road under the trees (be careful of bird droppings). The hotel has a strict cancellation policy, we were traveling with an elderly relative and booked a few days in advance, but then the relative changed plans, so we were stuck with two rooms because the cancellation policy is five days in advance. After many calls we were able to get one room canceled. The room we booked was a family room that consisted of a double bed, bath on one level and a loft with a pullout couch bed that our teenage daughter really loved, it even had some type of music player that she was immediately able to connect with. We don’t usually stay at 5 star hotels, we only booked it for our relative and would have cancelled if we had been able to, but looking back at it it was a real treat to stay that one night at a top notch establishment. 23/06/2024: The restaurant options in Beaune are amazing, and many are very difficult to get reservations for. We were lucky enough to reserve a table at this amazing location in the center of Beaune. The service was excellent. We of course ordered a bottle of wine and then were amazed at each of the courses. The cheese mouse with a tomato jam underneath was one of the most incredible things I have ever tasted! Amuse bouche, starters, meat, fish, cheese and desserts in an elegant setting! How could you go wrong.
