La Dilettante sur Beaune

Simply elegant food on shared plates, French Japanese fusion with fabulous wines by the glass. We had sardines, crudo beef with rocket vinaigrette, chicken karage, beans and terrine and a couple of wines by the glass €50 per head.

Excellent bar in the center of Beaune! Perfect for a casual evening. The portions served are always made with excellent products, and the croque monsieur is perfect! The wine list is curated by the bar owner himself, who, with his friendliness, immense sensitivity, and patience, guides us and gets each recommended bottle right! The entire staff is extremely friendly, cordial, and always attentive. It's worth a visit to the bar every time you're in Beaune! Tip: always book at least 2 days in advance.

We stumbled upon this place and weren't disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious; we had a wonderful meal. Wine lovers will find a wide selection available.

The wine selection is truly excellent, as is the food, mostly cold dishes to share, with a few Asian influences. I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu; as I pointed out to the chef, it was delicious, significantly better than many tiramisus you can find in Italy. Very nice place. Average prices.

An incredible place for wine and food. We had their snacks and some wine. The staff was friendly and helpful in terms of recommendations, and the place was full of good vibes and people. The wine and snacks where really, really good!

We stumbled upon this place seeking to eat lunch and intrigued about the atmosphere. We were so glad to stop here!! The food was amazing and the service was awesome. We especially liked the Tuna Tataki, the smoked anchovies, tge tomatoes with mozzarella and the chocolate mousse. There’s a very wide selection of excellent wines which unfortunately we didn’t taste as we had a long drive ahead. Super recommended.

A rare moment of cuisine, hospitality, and delicious natural wines. On the menu: an INCREDIBLE celery carpaccio with leek oil (what a devilish combination!), a harmonious blend of textures and flavors with toasted buckwheat groats and lemon zest. This was followed by the delight of chicken karaage (a marvel of marinade, then frying). Unreasonably, this was followed by a beef tataki, perfectly seasoned and playing with textures thanks to the roasted peanut and the delicately oiled Parmesan shaving. The meal concluded simply beautifully with homemade ice cream, left to develop the perfect texture and temperature. Excuse my strong language, but I was helped by the delicious natural wines (a white Ardèche wine—I've forgotten the grape variety!), an exceptional Chardonnay (I've forgotten the producer!), and an Aligoté.
