For those curious about and who appreciate exotic flavors and textures. A warm and professional welcome with a relaxed atmosphere. Fresh and consistently expertly prepared cuisine. Chili peppers that are very mild unless you politely ask for a kick. Everything is there. Thank you for being authentic for at least 28 years (since my first visit).

A fantastic experience from start to finish! The owner gave us an incredible welcome, with a presentation of the place and the buffet that immediately put us at ease. You can feel his genuine generosity and desire to please. The atmosphere is lively, warm, and truly inspiring. The dishes are simply excellent, a real treat! And to accompany everything, we tried cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, each one as delicious as the next. A place to recommend without hesitation!

Amazing place! Great find! The welcome and service were top-notch. The owner is lovely and very warm. They offered little dips as an appetizer, giving us a taste of flavors from around the world. The dishes were varied and original (llama, zebra, kangaroo...) with Creole and African influences. They even had insects! Complimentary digestifs: a soft drink and a much less potent one 🥵🔥 A wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

20/03/2026: Returning by pure chance 15 years later and finding the same warm atmosphere, those smiles, and the same rich, generous, and delicious cuisine, it was a wonderful evening. Thank you and see you very soon!
16/03/2026: Words cannot adequately describe the pleasure my partner and I get from going to Puja. The welcome is always warm and personalized, regardless of who greets us. The food is very affordable, and what's more, it's delicious and plentiful. A real treat. If a reference to the city of Montpellier isn't associated with a recommendation of Puja, I consider it an insult. I highly recommend this restaurant and its entire team.

30/04/2026: Very, very good 🔥 but adding a third menu with 4-5 empanadas (per person) for #BigEaters would be nice, otherwise the food and service were perfect, nothing to complain about 👌
25/04/2026: We had an overall decent experience at this Argentine empanada spot. The empanadas themselves were decent in taste, and each one costs around €4. The size is fair (not especially big, but not too small either) so they work well for a quick bite. Overall, it’s a fine place if you’re looking for something fast and simple, but probably not the best option for a full meal.
