Le Bowling du Rouergue sur Onet-Le-Chateau

One Sunday evening, the first waiter told us that only the €38 set menu was available. We ordered, and then I asked a waitress why that was the only option. She told me that wasn't true; all the other menus were there! A few days later, we went bowling. We pressed the button to call a server and order drinks, and a very unpleasant waitress came over, saying we had to come over, even though she wasn't busy because there were no customers at the bar. She'd been chatting with another waitress for an hour! She didn't serve us anything we'd ordered! We didn't say anything to avoid causing trouble, but it's a disgrace! Especially considering the price of the drinks and a game of bowling. I was really disappointed for a supposedly "upscale" establishment. The pool tables were deplorable, and the bowling shoes smelled awful. Luckily, there were some very friendly waiters.

The time between the starter and the main course was long, especially with children.

Every time I'm in Rodez, I make a point of stopping by for a meal, and I'm never disappointed. I had a table near the kitchen, and it's a real treat to watch them work—their professionalism and teamwork are perfect. And today I had the chance to chat with the owner, who has been there for all these years. His success has certainly helped put Aveyron on the map beyond our borders.
