Good local produce, a bit pricey

Friday, 7 PM, I parked coming from Figeac. I was in the commercial area for gas and the Aveyron market. I stopped there to eat at the market restaurant. I went in, and a young waiter greeted me and offered me a table to myself. I chose one. I sat down and looked at the reserved tables. They took care of me: an aperitif of duck foot and a slice of bread with bacon, and a small glass of Cahors red wine. A good market atmosphere. For my starter, I chose a gizzard salad with seasoned duck heart, which was generous and tasty. The aligot and duck sausage had a wonderful farm-fresh aroma. I didn't have dessert because I was completely full. The atmosphere between the servers and the customers was excellent and friendly; everyone had their role: the one who greeted us, the one who suggested things, the one who brought us food, and the one who managed the group while also having a kind word for each customer. A truly noteworthy address, and I'm convinced that the future of farming lies in this kind of collaboration. In any case, the restaurant team showcases this sector well; thank you. The place doesn't look like much, but what a pleasant surprise from the moment we were welcomed by the whole team! What's their secret? Everything on the plate is fresh and delicious from start to finish. The braised pork cheek, dauphinoise potatoes, and minestrone for dessert were incredible! And with coffee at lunchtime, it's only €18. One drawback: the noise from the conversations is quite loud. But you quickly forget about it when your mouth is full! Thank you!

A shop with a wide selection of regional products. Always clean. The staff's welcome and advice are always excellent. I've been there several times, both for personal shopping and to have packages prepared at the request of management, and it's always a pleasure.
