26/08/2026: Good local produce, a bit pricey

22/08/2026: Friday, 7 PM, I parked coming from Figeac. I was in the commercial area for gas and the Aveyron market. I stopped there to eat at the market restaurant. I went in, and a young waiter greeted me and offered me a table to myself. I chose one. I sat down and looked at the reserved tables. They took care of me: an aperitif of duck foot and a slice of bread with bacon, and a small glass of Cahors red wine. A good market atmosphere. For my starter, I chose a gizzard salad with seasoned duck heart, which was generous and tasty. The aligot and duck sausage had a wonderful farm-fresh aroma. I didn't have dessert because I was completely full. The atmosphere between the servers and the customers was excellent and friendly; everyone had their role: the one who greeted us, the one who suggested things, the one who brought us food, and the one who managed the group while also having a kind word for each customer. A truly noteworthy address, and I'm convinced that the future of farming lies in this kind of collaboration. In any case, the restaurant team showcases this sector well; thank you. 22/07/2026: Passing through Villefranche, I saw there were a lot of positive reviews for Amaya's Kebab, so I decided to try it. I ordered two kebabs in wraps. The meat was good, in my opinion, and quite filling. If you like harissa, ask for their homemade harissa. Be warned, it really packs a punch! It's very spicy. 🌶️ 🌶️

24/08/2026: Small Flunch restaurant, but friendly staff and welcome, reasonable prices, good selection, and overall good food, I recommend it without hesitation!

19/08/2026: The service from the waiters was perfect, as usual; the dining room was spotless, and the menu selection was very reasonable. Other Flunch restaurants in the area should take note.

16/08/2026: Our favorite all-you-can-eat Sunday lunch buffet 😊 The quality of the food is excellent. There's a wide variety of choices, and the staff is fantastic—very friendly, always smiling, and simply wonderful. Important: The restrooms are very clean (we've never had any unpleasant surprises). We highly recommend this buffet.

26/06/2026: So I tried the croissant: good, but nothing special (which means that if I lived in the neighborhood, I'd buy them regularly, but otherwise, it's not worth crossing Paris to try them). And I also tried the peanut trompe l'oeil. I'm not a peanut fan to begin with, but honestly, it was very well-balanced, with caramel and cream, and stable enough to eat comfortably. I always struggle with the high prices of these trompe l'oeil pastries, but in the end, the portions were generous, so that made it a bit more worthwhile. So I'd say: a very good neighborhood bakery (from what little I've seen)!

10/06/2026: The baguette is too thin and light, which means it doesn't keep very well.

03/06/2026: The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The adjoining restaurant is excellent for meat.

10/02/2026: Just like the restaurant, everything is perfect: a hearty and generous breakfast with quality products, a spotless room, nothing to complain about.
