Le buron du Che sur Nasbinals

This is a place you won't forget! Two dining rooms, two atmospheres, and both magical: on one side, an authentic buron (traditional shepherd's hut) that still seems to carry the spirit of those who once worked there; on the other, a more modern room offering a breathtaking panorama of the Aubrac plateau. On the plate, generous, authentic, and delicious cuisine that showcases local produce. The welcome is warm and the service attentive, with a generosity that makes you feel instantly at ease. In short, a truly wonderful place, full of charm and authenticity, from which we left enchanted. An excellent memory that we will cherish from our time in Aubrac!

A truly wonderful gourmet restaurant with very reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. All the staff are incredibly friendly and pleasant. Even our little dog was treated like royalty 😉 Well done, don't change a thing, we'll definitely be back.

A beautiful establishment perched on the plateau, offering magnificent views. The mountain restaurant, with its wooden interior, is very well decorated, the tableware is elegant, the welcome and service are excellent, and the refined cuisine, featuring a menu of local specialties, is a true delight. The quality of the meat is superb.

We arrived at Buron du Ché on a Wednesday shortly after 2 pm, and the place was completely packed and bustling with activity. We had actually given up hope of getting in without a reservation. We also weren't sure if it was even possible to eat that late. I tentatively asked at the central bar if there might be a spot for my son and me. Despite the hustle and bustle, a very kind woman (I suspect one of the owners/a family member?) took a moment to help us find a table anywhere in the restaurant – and just then, a table for four became available. The woman then looked after us very kindly and attentively (despite our limited French), we had an exceptionally good meal, and as far as we could tell, we even managed to share a few laughs with the cheerful owner and a lively group at the next table. Très français, wonderful! We found the experience very straightforward, incredibly friendly, and considerate. Thank you so much for this unforgettable visit to the heart of the Aubrac! Excellent meal and top-notch service...local cuisine and a sublime setting

The local produce was excellent and the aligot was delicious. Our table's location afforded us a beautiful view of the Aubrac region throughout the meal.
