Excellent homemade food at a great price, and the service was very friendly and efficient; so much so that we went back two days later. A good variety of dishes, and I must give special mention to the 'garbure', a delicious local specialty.

Excellent welcome and excellent food!! The dining room is packed and lively, reservations seem to be pouring in by phone, and it's easy to see why. The diplomas and awards adorning the walls are a clear indication of what's on the plate. The garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) served here is prepared by the very official world champion himself! People come to the "Restaurant de la Gare" to eat and leave delighted with their experience. The ambition here is clearly not only to nourish but also to welcome and share, and all at a price that can't be beat. Fast service (despite the announcement at the entrance) and very friendly. Simple and efficient cuisine. Without having booked, for 3 people (and a small dog) the welcome was warm. I really recommend it.
