Well located, magnificent view above the port of La Rochelle, young and dynamic team. And the best comes with the beautiful plates and the very good dishes. We feel the love of the profession, it's a pleasure :) The icing on the cake, a reasonable price!

Very nice experience! Good food served with a smile!!! A little quick considering the crowd, it follows a starter, main course and dessert (and you can clearly see that the starters and desserts are prepared in advance!) but honestly a good time and of course with a breathtaking view of our superb city! THANK YOU to the waitresses and the little waiter for their availability and kindness

For a brasserie, the atmosphere is not there, it looks like a cafeteria...! But the cuisine is worthy of a very good restaurant. The service, on the other hand, is a little slow...probably because there are few staff in the room compared to the number of customers...

Tonton Louis

04/04/2024: Regulars of the place but absent for a long time we rediscovered Tonton Louis. Rejuvenation of the room and the buffet... The welcome is perfect. For the buffet everything is fresh.....but a little too cold. Slightly overcooked langoustines and spider crabs should be drained Otherwise everything is fine, restaurant recommended. We will come back to this.

05/04/2024: The hotel has been very well renovated, it is very nice, pretty and stylish. The fact of going to get water from the fountain and no longer distributing bottles is understandable in view of the climate issues, however there is no longer a bar and that was sometimes appreciable. Parking is always very practical, however, as a hotel guest I still find it a little excessive. In any case, hotel very well located, 2 steps from the aquarium. The breakfast buffet is varied and very good. I recommend. Welcoming staff.
01/04/2024: The hotel has recently been extensively renovated. It's a very nice renovation. The hotel is perfectly located: right next to the aquarium and the maritime museum and a 5-minute walk from the old port and old La Rochelle. The rooms are clean and pleasant (beautiful decor with the renovation). The bedding is impeccable. The breakfast buffet is very complete and of very good quality. A special mention for all the staff (reception, breakfast, cleaning staff) who are extremely courteous, always attentive to customer needs, always smiling, always available. In short, a very good 3-day stay in a Mercure of very, very good quality in all areas.
