The hotel has been very well renovated, it is very nice, pretty and stylish. The fact of going to get water from the fountain and no longer distributing bottles is understandable in view of the climate issues, however there is no longer a bar and that was sometimes appreciable. Parking is always very practical, however, as a hotel guest I still find it a little excessive. In any case, hotel very well located, 2 steps from the aquarium. The breakfast buffet is varied and very good. I recommend. Welcoming staff.

The hotel has recently been extensively renovated. It's a very nice renovation. The hotel is perfectly located: right next to the aquarium and the maritime museum and a 5-minute walk from the old port and old La Rochelle. The rooms are clean and pleasant (beautiful decor with the renovation). The bedding is impeccable. The breakfast buffet is very complete and of very good quality. A special mention for all the staff (reception, breakfast, cleaning staff) who are extremely courteous, always attentive to customer needs, always smiling, always available. In short, a very good 3-day stay in a Mercure of very, very good quality in all areas.

I had a wonderful stay in this establishment which was completely renovated recently. The decoration is very neat and successful. The location is just perfect for visiting La Rochelle and its surroundings. The place is calm and peaceful. Above all, what I remember is the professionalism, availability and kindness of all the teams. The dishes served in the restaurant are of high quality. I would be very happy to return to this superb hotel.

Very small room for a fairly high price but pleasant terrace except the view at the back

Everything was perfect, from the very practical and inexpensive parking to the breakfast with quality products and some gluten-free. Very well appointed junior suite room with a very nice view of the Ferris wheel. We will definitely come back.
