We will come back on our next getaway to Chinon
As planned we came back to have our aperitif. There have been some changes to the cafe but still welcoming. And we were lucky that its card payment center worked again for our payment.

Small family dinner. The welcome was pleasant, the service professional and fast.
Hesitating about an aperitif, the waitress did not hesitate to offer me a snack and served me a glass (rare enough to be noted and very appreciated, thank you!).
While waiting for the children's menus, the owner offered my daughters markers to keep them waiting and was friendly and accessible during the meal.
On the plate, the dishes are good, try to favor homemade fries instead of frozen fries and the score will be perfect.
Overall, very good value for money.
I recommend this establishment.

We arrived as 4 adults with two small dogs around 1:30 p.m.
Good welcome on site, friendly discussion with the two waiters who also advised us which winegrowers to visit to discover Chinon.
Quality meals, generous plates!
For my part, I had a very successful Tartare cut with a knife, which is quite rare.

We had a marvellous meal at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was excellent - I really recommend the duck. Wonderful location right in the centre of town in a quaint little square.

Impeccable welcome despite our arrival at the end of kitchen service.
The young woman tells us that if we decide quickly on the choice of our dishes, no worries.
Outside it is raining heavily and we are invited to have lunch with our dog (Pyrenees Mountain) inside, really very nice. All the staff are very pleasant, professional and attentive. The hearty plates (chicken burger and beef tartare).
I recommend.

Nous y sommes allés pendant la fête médiévale, la terrasse était remplie mais les serveuses nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et avec le sourire alors qu’elles avaient vraiment beaucoup de monde.
Les plats sont simples mais correctement réalisés. L’addition est très correcte.
