Le Cambusier sur Saint-Malo

This restaurant was the final stop on our very busy sightseeing day. We came because the children’s menu looked especially appealing, and feeding our child while traveling can sometimes be a challenge. The kids’ menu was outstanding. Healthy, straightforward food that a child would actually enjoy, with a perfectly sized portion - enough to satisfy them without being too much. I had the scallop and oyster tartare as a starter and scallops for my main course. The tartare was a little confusing because it had something white on top that wasn’t mentioned in the description. I have to admit I didn’t dare try the topping (I have some dietary restrictions), and personally I prefer scallops and oysters separately. However, the main course was absolutely divine - an incredible balance of flavors and a beautiful presentation. My husband had a veal dish, which he also really enjoyed. What slightly spoiled the experience was the service. I definitely felt like an unwelcome guest, which was disappointing. Still, I highly recommend this place - the food was fantastic, and the other guests seemed to be welcomed very warmly. My only regret is that I didn’t look at the dessert menu when ordering - judging by the descriptions, every dessert sounded amazing. I also wish we’d had time to change before coming to the restaurant, but we were in a rush to have dinner and get our child to bed.

What a surprise! Everything was perfect! Very good and refined! With a 2024 Mercurey, admittedly a bit young, but excellent! The service, the very clean restrooms (that's important too), the well-spaced tables, and the low volume of customers. Come without hesitation! Thank you for everything!

A sublime place, exceptional lunch and dinner, the owner is incredibly attentive, the wine list is outstanding, the dishes are refined and tastefully chosen, a truly beautiful restaurant. I highly recommend it!

I've come here for lunch and dinner several times, and we're always very warmly welcomed. I'm never disappointed with the quality-price ratio; whether it's the set lunch and dinner menus or the daily specials/à la carte options, there's a huge selection at very attractive prices considering the quality of the ingredients. The food is exceptional, the preparation is remarkable, and everything is served quickly. The service is also excellent, with a personalized welcome and a very pleasant smile from the entire team every time. Thank you for these wonderful experiences at your restaurant.

Very good restaurant, good products, good quality and freshness

A warm welcome, pleasant dining room, and excellent cuisine, especially the set lunch menu (starter/main/dessert) for €26. We'll definitely return if we have the chance.

The dishes on the €43 set menu are good, but the portions are small. The service doesn't live up to what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant. A disappointment considering the numerous glowing reviews.
