We were served by Jonathan: very friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of humor, which makes you want to come back.

The restaurant is quaint and cosy. We loved how quiet it was, as we could talk easily. The food was really good. Dishes predominantly duck (Canard). There were 3 main courses that did not include duck. Steak, vegetable thai curry style and a scallops n shrimp dish (devine!). .drinks were well presented and the service top notch!

An excellent restaurant offering magnificent dishes, such as the cassoulet royal which is truly "killer". Very pleasant staff. The chef knows and loves his job. This restaurant is definitely worth the detour! Not to be missed!

Meal for two. Honestly, nothing to complain about, it was absolutely delicious. The starter and main course were very generous and of excellent quality. The staff were responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I'm delighted with my visit to the "Canard Royal." Despite a kitchen breakdown, they had a perfect customer experience. Friendly and attentive service. A very attentive dining room manager, and above all, a team that remains welcoming and cheerful. I truly recommend it. More than just a superb address in Pau, it's a must-see.
