Great find. Great welcome! Homemade, difficult to make a choice. A treat for a very affordable price

Small, delicious homemade dishes in a beautiful setting with a warm welcome.

Splendid ! Not knowing Vitré at all, I drove around the city center for a little while looking for a snack for my lunch. I only had 30 minutes to spare and it was impossible to find a bakery... that's when I came across this storefront. I stopped and discovered at the entrance a cold cabinet filled with dishes which all looked delicious and then realized that there was also a restaurant section. I was very well received and when I asked if it was possible to grab something quickly to take away the person asked me and said yes. I finally chose to sit down at the table and I was able to eat such a good dish in 10 minutes! I was even able to treat myself because there was Italian ice cream 🤩. Impossible to leave without taking some sweet treats... It is certain that I will come back with my family this time the 45 minutes drive will not stop me because this establishment is really worth the detour! Too bad I didn't have more time! I really appreciated the welcome, the smile, the simplicity, the relaxed and warm atmosphere, the variety of Italian dishes offered and the setting itself. A very nice address! Everything is perfect, thank you very much! I had a blast!

The dishes are really well prepared and tasty. We even discover interesting recipes. The prices are very fair. The staff, welcoming and pleasant, does a very good job, it's pleasant. Very good place to eat.

Yum! Dishes that you rarely find in restaurants, and small so that you can taste lots of things 😁 Cheap and very good! I suggest adding a dish of raw vegetables (there was only the green salad) and the details of the contents of each dish (in the window for example). Run there!

Local prepared homemade food at a good price. They have tables inside and a terrace to eat. The staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious. We loved the rolled pizza and the rice and vegetable bomb. Recommendable!

De passage pour un weekend à Vitré nous sommes tombés par hasard sur Le Candiot en déambulant à proximité de notre hôtel. Nous avons été charmés par la carte pleine de spécialités italiennes avec des prix très corrects (il y en a pour toutes les bourses!). Ce que nous avons mangé était vraiment excellent ! Croquette de pomme de terre en entrée, gnocchis farcis à la truffe et ravioles au chèvre et à la tomate, puis petites mignardises en dessert... Il y a vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel y est très accueillant et sympathique et le restaurant dispose d'une terrasse si on souhaite profiter de l'extérieur :) Je recommande vivement !
