Le Cap Horn sur Saint-Malo

The food is excellent. The service is top-notch. The staff is very friendly. The best part is the stunning sea view. The rice pudding with its blackcurrant twist was a real treat.

We had almost become regulars at Cap Horn, meaning we went once or twice a year. We won't be going back. Our meal on Sunday, August 30th, left a bitter taste. The food, in the €61 set menu, which is no small sum, seemed less refined than before: the vegetable tart, while undeniably beautiful, didn't live up to its visual appeal, and the side dish for the veal, which was excellent, left much to be desired: a salad stuffed with peas and broad beans that seemed frozen, all rather bland. Finally, the desserts were nothing special. As for the service, there was also a change of pace. The waiter at our table, while courteous, seemed eager to finish and displayed a nonchalance completely inappropriate for a fine-dining restaurant, for example, arranging the dishes and cutlery rather haphazardly and speaking so hastily that we didn't dare ask for further explanation. The sommelier, friendly but also in a hurry, didn't seem interested in going into the details we would have liked to learn, for a possible discovery. We were truly disappointed, but apparently we weren't the only ones.

Excellent restaurant, a recommended stop in Saint Malo to enjoy expertly prepared surf and turf cuisine.

Pleasant service, beautiful location with sea view, excellent children's menu. We had a lovely time. I recommend this restaurant.

The best oysters and the best champagne — thanks to the chef.

Excellent food, restaurant overlooking the sea. Helpful staff, delicious dishes.

A truly wonderful experience here, top-notch service with no waiting and very attentive waiters, the restaurant is very well located with a superb sea view!! I highly recommend it.

Excellent dinner and service. The recommendations were perfectly made mixing the menu items including the cheese selection.

A beautiful panoramic view of the ocean with both terasse and indoor sitting. Ceiling high windows overlook the ocean with a atmospheric view of the sunset. The food perfectly accompanies the beauty of the view with exquisite combinations of flavors and artistic presentation. This is a perfect restaurant for an elegant but relaxed dinner with high class french cuisine. It's pricy but it's definitely worth it.

Great experience, magnificent place and thank you to the two exceptional chefs.
