Le caprice sur Les Houches

Very nice place where you eat very well. Excellent children's menu. Perfect service.

We returned to this restaurant this year because we discovered this restaurant 2 years ago. We were very disappointed this time. We were 3 people and waited more than 3/4 hours to be served!! The manager was very rude when we told her it was too long! In addition, we ordered an apple pie at the start of the meal (as noted on the menu). Fearing we would have to wait too long, we asked the manager if the pie was ready. In response, the latter haughtily asked us how much time we gave the cooks to prepare it!? Faced with her attitude we decided to go and pay for the meals and leave but she came back to the charge by bringing the pie to the cash register and telling us that she would pay for it!!?? We refused because we don't give alms! We didn't understand her attitude when she could have simply apologized! On the other hand, the waiter who cashed us was very embarrassed and unlike this lady, was very professional! The dishes were very good! Too bad to have had to deal with such an incompetent person who ruined our evening! I sincerely pity the staff who work with her when we see their behavior with customers!

We had a great time in this tastefully decorated restaurant! The service was perfect, and we enjoyed ourselves (especially with the half-cooked dessert, a delight). Very good value for money.

We had breakfast, delicious bread and croissant, oranges to squeeze for an excellent fresh juice, cheeses and cold meats, fruit salad, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, all that was missing was scrambled eggs and pain au chocolat for let it be perfect.

Had dinner here twice as part of my stay at the hotel. It was a 3-course menu and both times was impressed with the food. Good French cooking. Highly recommended.
