Restaurant Le Hors-Pistes sur Les Houches

Pleasantly surprised! Good daily special for €19 and draft beer for €5. Terrace overlooking the mountain range. As a native of the valley, I know that mountain restaurants don't have a very positive reputation. But this place was good and reasonably priced, so I recommend it!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The setting is beautiful, the Savoyard fondue is excellent, and the staff are very friendly!

Wonderful place to stop for a meal or drink on the mountain. My entire family (6 people) was able to get a table quickly. The food was great and the scenery was fantastic. I do reccomend coming earlier in the day if you have a larger group. Additionally, I believe they take reservations but we did not need one during the week.

Excellent service (special mention to Chloé and Sabine!) and high-quality cuisine for a restaurant on the slopes. Be sure to book, it's packed every day.

I'm leaving a review, but if you're in a festive atmosphere like us, there's no cell service on the slopes anyway, so we went there without knowing what to expect... Naturally, it's very expensive for the quality of the food... You're paying for the setting... My croziflette was quite runny... The staff are friendly; they even offered to let us put our gloves on the stove so they could get them back while they were still hot!

We had dinner at this excellent restaurant and were delighted. Its location is ideal for skiers and offers breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif. The service was impeccable from arrival until the end of the meal. The dishes are primarily made with local produce and prepared with high-quality ingredients. We enjoyed a fondue that was truly exceptional in the area. The prices are typical for Haute-Savoie, in fact, I would even say below average considering the portion sizes. Well done, Alan, and to the whole team!

A very quaint refuge, with a friendly and professional welcome, obviously not on busy days. Typical, quality food. Overall, highly recommended.
