Le Cardeur Bacchus sur Aix-En-Provence

Very pleasant place, due to its location on the Place des Cardeurs. Trendy decoration, and good products. On the other hand, it's impossible to get a hello from the waiters even if they came the day before... What a shame to push us not to come back!

Je trouve les commentaires très dur ! Nous avons déjeuné un midi et nous avons été accueillis avec l’hospitalité du sud : pas proutprout et très sympa. La carte est simple (ce qui est souvent signe de fraîcheur) les plats sont très bons : nous avons mangé un tartare de saumon et du poulet au thym avec des frites et une purée, nous nous sommes régalés. Les prix sont corrects pour un restaurant au cœur de Aix et ce que nous avons eu dans notre assiette.

I find the comments very harsh! We had lunch one afternoon and we were welcomed with southern hospitality: not proutprout and very friendly. The menu is simple (which is often a sign of freshness) the dishes are very good: we ate a salmon tartare and thyme chicken with fries and mash, we enjoyed ourselves. The prices are correct for a restaurant in the heart of Aix and what we had on our plate.

Marcelo is a very good waiter, I love the bar, the atmosphere is crazy. very pleasant staff, pastis loaded well.

The terrace is pleasant and the decor on the 1st floor is worth the detour. A quiet atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon. The somewhat cold welcome from the waiter did not prevent us from having a good time.

A chaque fois que nous passons a Aix, nous venons nous ressourcer ici. Service agreable, cadre aere sur une jolie place, a proximite de tout, sans etre dans la foule. Les plats sont frais, soignes, de qualites et abordables. Bref, a la prochaine!

Friendly welcome, however the food is really not great, the spaghetti Carbonara was overcooked, not enough flavor in the sauce and the “lost brioche” dessert was very disgusting. The setting is still appreciable, it may be better to have tapas according to customer feedback
