Le Carmin sur Beaune

Best meal in a long time. A magnificent setting, perfect service and exceptional cuisine where you have the impression that whatever you eat will be sublime. thanks again We will come back

We expect more from a star. We had lunch yesterday at Carmin following a “4-course formula, drinks included” gift. The PLUS: the wines were magnificent, we were able to choose them (3 different wines) according to our tastes and by following the advice of the sommelier passionate about his profession, thank you to him, a superb taste experience within Burgundy wines. CONS: the dishes were good but without any real originality, the rice served with the fish was too dry, the cheeses lacked flavor. The presentation of the dishes was very succinct, and non-existent for dessert (Paris Brest placed on the table as in any restaurant). And finally: 2 tables were occupied, 1 table for 8 people. and 1 table of 2 (ours), at the end of the meal the chef came to greet and exchange with the 8 people right next to us then left without speaking to us a single word: this is possible at the station brasserie, but unthinkable in a starred restaurant.

Simple but well executed dishes, beautiful setting and very friendly staff, I recommend for lunch or evening with colleagues or lovers

What can I say except well done! Great discovery in the heart of Beaune. Clean room with soft pastel tones, Impeccable service although the crowds on a Saturday evening slow down order taking somewhat. Small downside regarding the noise from our neighboring table, one of the Girls in a group imagined herself perhaps alone at the table. From starter to dessert, perfect cooking, reasonable quantities, we will come back! Professionalism of the servers and the sommelier, we did well to reserve both by telephone and in person at the end of the afternoon, the restaurant being full this evening in July 2022. We were welcomed without more or less, I would say normally for a starred restaurant. We had lunch with the 50€ menu. The starters were correct. The dishes were unfortunately lukewarm and unbalanced in their combinations and quantities/prices. To report errors in order taking and other requests. Overall this restaurant is a little below what we have the right to expect.

Simply divine. The service was impeccable. The food was fabulous and plentiful - we were so full after our meal! The wine list is extensive with a wide variety of price points.
