Le Carmin sur Beaune

Given the expectations, I wouldn't it. The dishes were "flat," neither good nor bad. ( I mean, mediocre…nothing surprising.)

We had a wonderful evening at Le Carmin. The cuisine is exceptional. Each dish is a true work of art, presented with great imagination and a keen sense of aesthetics. The portions are more than generous. We enjoyed six courses and were delighted after a four-hour meal. The service is excellent, the wine list is extensive, and the wine recommendations are top-notch. This restaurant is highly, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful three-course lunch at La Carmin in Beaune. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We especially appreciated the quality of the dishes and the overall presentation. The three-course lunch was also very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the food. It was a great value and a lovely dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Beaune and looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

Carmin was one of the loveliest dining experiences we had in Beaune. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and the chef was especially kind to our son, Claude, taking the time to come out, meet him, and give him a beautifully signed book. It was such a thoughtful gesture and one of those moments that makes a restaurant experience feel genuinely personal. Our waiter, who also guided us through the wine, was equally memorable. He gave us a wonderful introduction to Burgundy and helped me discover what has now become my favorite style of red Burgundy, Pommard. The wine recommendations were thoughtful, approachable, and perfectly matched to the meal. The food itself was beautifully composed, with the fish courses in particular standing out. Everything felt refined and carefully constructed without ever becoming overly formal or fussy. The dining room is also wonderful, calm, elegant, and understated, with beautiful neutral tones that make the entire experience feel relaxed and polished. Great food, exceptional hospitality, and a real sense of care throughout the evening. We will absolutely return the next time we are in Beaune.

A wonderful time spent with my parents celebrating my 20th birthday. The service was meticulous and perfect! The setting is very pleasant. The sommelier gave excellent advice and introduced us to some truly great wines. The food lived up to our expectations. That's why I highly recommend you try this restaurant without hesitation.
