I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I finally did, and I should have come sooner! It's a great place; the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Water is served either by the carafe or as filtered sparkling or still water. They don't sell bottled water of any particular brand. The service is quite fast. The pig's trotter crépinette is delicious. It was my first time trying it. The trio of crème brûlées is fantastic. It's perfect for Juno.

A lovely restaurant in Saumur. Beautiful decor, a warm and refined welcome. The chef is friendly and attentive. The ingredients are regional, but not exclusively so. The flavors are delicate and the dishes are beautifully presented. The wine list is extensive and offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. Very reasonable prices – another excellent choice in the charming town of Saumur!

What a great find! We were passing through town and had a wonderful evening at Le Carrousel. The food was delicious and generous, as was the wine and desserts! I highly recommend it.

22/01/2025: Excellent address! The dishes and desserts are delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. The setting is charming. I highly recommend it.
13/01/2025: Excellent meal from start to finish in July. However, we returned at the end of December. The meal was still perfect, but this time the welcome was very cold because we arrived at 12:45 instead of 12:30, despite having notified them. Furthermore, instead of questioning herself, the owner told us that it was up to us to question ourselves. Wow, what a great response for a professional! The point of going to a restaurant is to have a pleasant and convivial time, and that was definitely not the case here.
