Traditional cuisine, friendly place.

Generous portions, special mention for the incredible cordon bleu, delicious tarte flambée, and a very friendly team. A place well worth a visit.

This restaurant is a great tip for a truly superb meal in a lovely canal-side setting. The entrance is a little off the main road and wonderfully quiet. The service was quick and very attentive. Both drinks and food arrived promptly. The food was truly excellent. We had main courses and cake for dessert. The portions were generous and definitely good value. We were completely satisfied. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

Not a bad place. My partner got the Le Baeckeofe, wasnt that great. The lamb was fatty. Rest of the meal was fine.

Discovered while waiting for the boats to depart for the excursion, we sampled the restaurant's cuisine, including the roast ham hock and the famous tuna/salmon tartare! A very pleasant surprise! True to its reputation for good food, the service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming, despite the sometimes slightly uncivilized clientele of tourists. Worth a try.

The cocktails were good, the tarte flambée was decent but rather basic for the price. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the setting was nice too. However, a major drawback was the waiter's verbal communication. He asked us, "Would we have a green salad on the side?" in a tone that was either questioning or affirmative, it wasn't clear. My wife said yes, assuming it would be a SIDE DISH and not an EXTRA... So I asked, "What else do you have?" The waiter elegantly suggested the mixed salad as a side dish, I repeat. Imagine my surprise when, upon paying, I discovered that these salads weren't actually free sides like in 99% of mid-range restaurants like this one. The green salad was €4.50 and the mixed salad (slyly offered) was €9. So I ended up with an extra €13.50 for salad, which, by the way, certainly wasn't worth that much… It's a shame because I was about to leave a good review, but the waiter knew exactly what he was doing since he did the same thing to a table of foreigners next to us who, moreover, didn't understand what was going on…

Family lunch break... we arrived early enough to snag a table on the terrace. We were greeted by the owner, nicknamed "The Storm" ;) We thoroughly enjoyed his warm welcome, his humor, but above all, his refined and generous cuisine. We discovered their delicious violet and blueberry spritz aperitif and fresh sparkling wine. A wonderful time in a fantastic restaurant, a delightful discovery during our visit to Colmar.

Nice restaurant, but there are much better options for this price in Colmar.
