There were four of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the nice restaurant, the friendly service, and the delicious food.

Fantastic food! Absolutely delicious. They also had (very tasty) vegetarian options. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and welcoming. Located right in the heart of Colmar's old town, yet still offering fair value for money. We would definitely come back.

The price... Simply put... The food is good, the Caesar salad is interesting, and the breaded chicken is really good. However, it's very, very expensive for a dish of this type. Okay, we're right in the center of Colmar, but it's very close to €30 per dish... Honestly... The service upstairs is good; the two waiters were professional, welcoming, and good salespeople. 😉 They cleared away empty bottles and immediately offered a fresh drink. This isn't common in Alsace, but it was well received. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant, and they were thoughtfully provided with a bowl of fresh water, which the owners appreciated. A nice touch, well done! We didn't try the desserts; the bill was already quite high, unfortunately... As for the decor, upstairs it's cluttered and eclectic, which can have its charm. One last thing: the bread served in its packaging, just like fresh from the bakery, is quite surprising... I would have liked to go back, but the prices on the menu will likely lead me to try another restaurant. Is it open on Sundays? Is that why the prices are so high?

The main courses were good, although slightly cold, but the starter was rather bland and lukewarm, and the desserts were very disappointing, especially the ice cream. The limited selection of flavors (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate) was surprising and nowhere near the standard of an artisanal ice cream parlor, as advertised on the menu. A bit disappointed, I must admit. The quality is well below the price. The service was friendly and welcoming.

A good lunch on the edge of Colmar's old town. Unique decor, good service, and traditional food. Good selection of regional wines.

The meal was perfect, except my husband found the rum baba bland. The wine recommendations were excellent. The staff were pleasant and smiling.

Average restaurant. A "deconstructed" salad with olives and capers!! It would have been wise to mention this, as these ingredients are not what one expects. The parmesan was presented as a sort of thick crisp; if it had been crumbled, it would have added a nice crunch. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and therefore dry. In short, a huge disappointment.
