LE CENTRAL BRASSERIE sur Roanne

A wonderful culinary experience. However, we were disappointed by the service, which was quite different from the food. There was a long wait for our order, the wine service was rushed, and the waitress smelled strongly of cigarettes. It's a shame.

A tastefully decorated and intimate setting in the heart of Roanne. Excellent value for money with iconic dishes from the Troisgros brand.

We had a wonderful dinner. They accommodated my request for a vegetarian dish and created a fantastic meal. The service was friendly and professional. The interior design is tasteful and cozy.

We returned to Le Central for dinner during our visit to Roanne. We received a very warm welcome, the service was good, and the restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and traditional—not to be missed. The food is good and prepared with care using fresh ingredients. The menu is small, which makes choosing easy and ensures homemade dishes. The orange risotto with curry cream was very creamy. My husband and I would have appreciated an extra minute of cooking time, as the rice was much too "al dente." It's a shame the rice is served spread out on a large plate, but the waiter told us... that's how Mr. Troisgros prefers it. The confit sturgeon was cooked to perfection; we simply added a pinch of fleur de sel. The strawberry dessert was light. As last year, we had a lovely evening.
