Le Cha' lon sur Chalon-Sur-Saone

David the magician, the master of escapes, Harry Houdini style, at the Chalon street festival. For 21 years I've been coming, I've been savoring Panini Hour, and frankly, if you want to eat there, come on my recommendation. It's a place you'll want to come back to and do abracadabra!

Today, June 2, 2026 Lunch with my friend Patou on the terrace; the daily special was excellent. Very friendly waitress. I recommend it.

What a pleasure to return to Chalon-sur-Saône and rediscover the Cha-Lon Bar Restaurant! The welcome is as warm as ever, and it was a real joy to see former BHV colleagues again. The homemade cuisine is excellent, generous, and offered at very reasonable prices. Special mention for the aioli, a true delight. You can taste the passion, the expertise, and the desire to please both in the food and in the service. Congratulations to the entire team for this great success, and thank you for a wonderful time. Simple and delicious food, the owners are very pleasant.

An owner who thinks he's something he's not and who doesn't have the sense to let a child go to the bathroom without buying anything. For an adult, that seems obvious, but for a child… It really shows the world we live in today. I hadn't set foot in this bar before, I won't be going back, and it goes without saying that I strongly advise against it!

Never disappointed with the à la carte menu or the daily specials. The best part is the charcuterie and cheese boards – all carefully selected, high-quality products – and you can enjoy them any time of day. Thank you.
