Le Saint Pierre sur Chalon-Sur-Saone

So yesterday we decided to go for a drink in town. Crazy request, I ordered a decaf iced coffee. The waiter said no problem (well, no problem, right?). It arrived a little dark roasted, but nothing to complain about, very pleasant. I ordered a second one, decaf, of course. Not the same taste at all, but in conversation with my friends, I didn't mention it. Well, I didn't sleep until 4 a.m. (even though I don't usually have trouble falling asleep except when I drink... caffeinated coffee). Okay, it was just a mistake, but be careful. I don't have any serious health problems related to caffeine, but some people do.

The wait was very long; we left before dessert. The service was disorganized, and the atmosphere among the staff was tense. The manager was getting angry, and one waitress was practically brushing air—at one point, nothing was coming out of the kitchen. Otherwise, the food was good, except my partner's hamburger was almost cold. A real shame.

Haquime was very cool, I recommend this restaurant (bar), everyone come, I highly recommend it!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very nice discovery, the waiter was very gracious and great, finally a restaurant that offers dishes that you don't see everywhere, the chicken Gaston Girard, wow, what a discovery, so good, bravo and the service was bravo, I don't often leave tips but here I left a very good one.

Excellent meal, great time spent enjoying a delicious cocktail. I'll be back as soon as possible.

I feel compelled to respond to this review, as I was present that day. I find it completely inappropriate and quite surprising. Especially since several comments seem to come from the same people, which raises questions. For your information, there were clearly not just a dozen customers: the terrace was full, as is usually the case whenever the sun is out. Regarding the comments about hygiene, they seem unfounded to me. As a regular, I have never noticed the slightest problem in this regard. Finally, the criticisms of the waitress or the managers are, in my opinion, exaggerated and unjustified. They seem more like comments intended to attract attention than objective feedback. Making a spectacle of oneself in this way is, honestly, quite... As proof, attached are photos of the terrace that day, so we must not have the same view...

I highly recommend it! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, the owners are passionate and do everything to ensure every visit is enjoyable. The negative reviews posted here absolutely do not reflect the reality of the place. It's a warm and unique spot, I recommend it without hesitation!
