Cannon!! And excellent!!!! And very fair price!! Not to be missed!! The children particularly appreciated the pendulum system to slow down door closings!! Thank you and well done!!

Great regulars for many years and always welcomed with a smile. Whether here or at Matefaim elsewhere. (Well, like every Monday evening, the latter is not open, the fondue is enjoyed at Chalala: the Durands and the Fiols still don't know after 9 years of existence, perhaps they should get started, eh?) Stay the same, Yves and Sabine, you are great ;)

03/09/2024: Nice location for hikes. Good food and welcoming and accommodating staff.
31/08/2024: We had an awesome week. The staff is excellent at reception, attentive until the end of the stay. The full board option is ideal, varied, and with themed dinners (grills, raclettes, etc.). We will come back without hesitation. As for the slightly dated but very clean accommodation, they have very comfortable mattresses. Bravo and thank you for this week of vacation.

Le Matefaim

14/09/2024: Good restaurant in the heart of Ceillac. Specialty of "matefaim", a kind of very thick Savoyard crepe, a bit like a pancake. Presented as a dessert, you can also find it as a replacement for burger bread, which is quite original! The restaurant also offers pizzas cooked over a wood fire. We ate there twice and had a great time while enjoying a very warm chalet setting. The staff is friendly, and I must say extremely efficient. Despite a very extensive menu, they manage to manage a Saturday evening service of 40+ seats for 3 (1 cook, 1 waitress and the boss who does service and pizzas), with fast service and dishes that arrive hot and well presented. We feel that there is experience, but we must recognize that it is admirable!
03/09/2024: I had an excellent season as a kitchen assistant dishwasher. Sabine and Yves are valiant people, upright and grateful for the work done by their employees. Jean-Philippe the chef and also a good person who taught me a lot for my first real experience in the kitchen. I don't regret packing my bags and crossing part of France for this establishment. Long live them, and we’ll see you again this winter with joy.😘
