A very pretty setting with delicious food. The staff is pleasant. A great atmosphere on Saturday nights with different DJs playing good music and a crowd of all ages. Excellent cocktails. If you don't eat in, entry is €9 without a complimentary drink, and there's a cloakroom at the entrance. Remember to book if you want to eat in the restaurant.

We ate there for the first time at lunchtime with our little girl. The children's menu was €15. It included fries, a hamburger, a scoop of ice cream, and a glass of water with syrup. Her meat was overcooked and dry, the cheese was the same, and she couldn't eat the minced steak. I mentioned it to the waitress and insisted on reporting it to the kitchen, and the only response was a simple apology, no gesture of goodwill towards the little girl. What a disappointment! And I find the prices excessive. In short, a first and last time...

Kudos to Doloresse for the excellent service; she was very professional, friendly, and efficient. We knew the previous owner and therefore the new one, and overall, we received a warm welcome. One small point to address: we called to ask if a reservation was necessary. The answer was no, it wasn't needed. Upon arrival, we couldn't get a table in the dining room near the dance floor, so we were seated in the conservatory. It was only upon arrival that we were advised to make a reservation (on the owner's advice). After that, everything was fine; we had access to the reserved standing tables.

It's a nice place to dance and eat. However, there's a major problem: the ventilation. The heat on the dance floor has become truly unbearable. You sweat profusely, and the air conditioning seems nonexistent or woefully inadequate (in my opinion, it's simply not turned on). A minimum of ventilation would make the experience much more pleasant. Another issue: overcrowding late at night. From 11:00 or 11:30 PM onwards, it becomes very difficult to dance because of the crowds. It might be wise to limit entry or utilize the adjacent space, which has been unused for several years, to expand the dance floor. Finally, the rules state that appropriate attire is required, but in reality, we regularly see people entering in shorts, jogging pants, or very casual clothing. It's a shame, as it doesn't reflect the image the establishment wants to project. Making money is one thing, but ensuring customer comfort and maintaining a certain level of quality should remain a priority.

Great place. Pleasant, quiet, and very good food. A wonderful welcome and excellent service. A special mention to our waitress Dolores, who was very helpful, friendly, smiling, and very efficient—that's becoming rare.

The setting is fantastic, especially the floating terrace on the pond. The food is more than decent, although it could be better seasoned. But I wasn't disappointed.

We had a fantastic time, the atmosphere was great, and the servers were very pleasant. The value for money was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Thank you to the whole team, and the floating terrace is a real bonus!

22/07/2026: We ate there as a family. The meal was decent. For our hamburgers, we ordered our meat rare, and unfortunately, it was overcooked. The buns were ice-cold in the crumb, I suspect frozen, and the fries were not great—greasy and stale. It's a shame because it could be fantastic.
19/07/2026: Non-existent service. On the terrace, you have to get your drinks from the bar and serve yourself. Tables are neither cleared nor cleaned. Saving on staff? Without lower prices.

01/07/2026: The members of the ARMENA club from Avesnes-sur-Helpe had a very pleasant time at the Tellier orchards restaurant on Thursday, June 25th, for their closing day. The meal was excellent value for money, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious local produce from appetizer to dessert. A big thank you to the chef and the service staff, who were quick and attentive despite the heat. The meal was followed by a very informative and interesting slideshow presented by Mr. Tellier about his orchards. The term "eco-responsible" takes on its full meaning and value after listening to him. A truly wonderful team that I encourage you to discover. Alain DELCROIX
17/05/2026: We dined at Tellier as a group (8 people). The food was generally good, but several things significantly marred the experience. First, a strong smell of bleach bothered us during the meal, due to the tables being cleaned with a spray while customers were eating. This was frankly unpleasant and inappropriate. Second, the menu was unclear: there was no new printed menu, making it difficult to understand what was actually on offer. The service was also complicated: the dishes arrived without the wines being served, which detracted from the overall experience. Speaking of the wine, it was served far too cold (around 4°C). When we pointed this out, the response was rather unpleasant, with a dismissive "that's how it's served here," whereas a Bourgueil is normally served at around 14°C. Finally, there was a significant error on the bill, with approximately €65 too much for our group, which is hardly acceptable. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is there, but all these points together leave a negative impression.
