Le Chalet du Lac sur Pierrefonds

A wonderful time, as always! The menu was very reasonably priced and the food was truly delicious and homemade! The staff were very friendly! The setting was beautiful!

Set menu at €19 for a starter and main course. The gazpacho starter wasn't very good, so sweet it seemed like sugar had been added. The fish and chips main course wasn't bad, but instead of a nice fillet of fish, it was served in small pieces. Service was adequate.

Chalet du Lac is a pleasant place, ideally located opposite Lake Pierrefonds. The welcome is friendly and the service is efficient. The dishes are well-prepared and the portions are generous. The setting is a real plus, especially when the weather allows you to enjoy the terrace. A good place to spend a pleasant time.

We came last night and dined outside by the lake; it was perfect. The service was impeccable, the waiters were very friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We'll definitely be back very soon. It's a shame I can't give it a heart.

The chalet's garden is lovely. It feels like a holiday, and the peace and quiet are undeniable. The service is attentive and friendly, yet meticulous. However, we were disappointed by the quality of the food. The market menu offers some appealing dishes, but they're prepared with basic, somewhat questionable ingredients (chicken tagliatelle and fish and chips). The risotto was dry and rather unappetizing. If the food improves, this could be a fantastic place to spend the evening.

I came on July 14th; there were 15 of us. We all loved the meal, the choice of location for lunch by the water, and the friendliness of the staff. I had called a few days beforehand to check if they were open on July 14th, and exceptionally, they were able to make a reservation. So our Bastille Day outing to Pierrefonds was a success.

Had a good experience. We were on the early side, so some of the staff were still dining. As a result, we had to wait a few minutes before being served. Once the waitstaff had finished dining, we were served quickly and efficiently. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. Definitely a place to recommend.

A place where you can come for a drink at the end of the evening after a stroll around the lake. However, the service was a bit disappointing. Upon arrival, we asked if we could just have a drink. We were invited to sit on the pallet benches and given menus. After that, we waited for more than 10 minutes without a server coming to take our order. During this time, a couple who arrived after us were served before us, which made us feel a bit forgotten. The server was smiling and pleasant when he finally came to see us, and we weren't in any particular hurry since we had simply come to enjoy a drink at the end of the evening. But a quick visit to let us know there would be a bit of a wait, or simply a glance to let us know we had been seen, would have been appreciated. A mixed experience then: A pleasant setting for a late-night drink, but service that deserves a little more attention.
