(UK Tourist) Wonderful experience on a quiet Monday September evening for our romantic anniversary celebration. Beautiful design and decor throughout. Solid portion size for the money and top quality wait service.

It was a very good experience. The meal was excellent (and I don't think "excellent" is an understatement). The service was also perfect and very courteous. It felt very comfortable.

The food is good and the dishes are tasty. It's a shame there were a few too many flies in the dining room. And a little surprise in the potato: a few forgotten cloves, which gave it a rather unexpected "crunch" 😅. A little attention to these details would really improve the experience.

We had a delicious meal here. The service was friendly and pleasant. We had the 'menu plazier', which is definitely recommended.

For two people with the set menu: quick and friendly service, more elaborate decor than the very basic brasseries nearby, and a perfectly decent, well-presented meal. I recommend it 👍

Le Chalet du Lac

20/08/2026: The waiters were kind and friendly, but the owner looked down his nose at female customers celebrating a birthday who asked for the last free drink on a €200 bill, responding disdainfully with, "What are you offering me in return?" This was our fourth meal here in a month, and tonight will be the last.
19/08/2026: The food was tasty, and the surroundings were lovely. Service was relatively quick despite it being busy.

24/09/2026: Amazing service and food. I had the combo of the day and they were amazing. The pistachios flavoured Crème Brûlée is astonishingly good!!! Setting outside lets you to be able to see the castle as well.
16/09/2026: I had lunch with my family; it was very pleasant. The welcome was very warm and professional. Thank you to the whole team.
