Le Chambolle sur Chambolle-Musigny

We had a fantastic dinner at La Chambolle. Nice and extremely attentive service, very classic meals but cooked to perfection. We can honestly recommend all the dishes we had. Recommended!!

A real treat and a snail extravaganza…

The chef was absolutely as welcoming and charming as his food was superb. He creates a personal atmosphere and stays in his good humor as he manages the cooking and provides all the service for the night. A true highlight of Burgundian cooking. We enjoyed a delightful dinner in his restaurant tucked away in the vines. An evening to remember.

I highly recommend this restaurant, run by a true craftsman who lives his profession with passion and authenticity.

To eat beef bourguignon while in Bourgogne is something else. You'd think the chef at La Chambolle was a vampire, having had hundreds of years to perfect the dish. It was insanely hot in France on this day, but this traditional French dinner made us forget the weather. Great folks, great food, extremely authentic in every way.

Each dish is a true work of art, prepared with a precision and finesse that demonstrate exceptional culinary mastery. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are showcased with great skill. A huge congratulations also to the owner, whose passion and professionalism are evident at every moment, as well as to the head waiter, who is simply exceptional: attentive, warm, and remarkably kind. Their hospitality and dedication to service make this moment even more memorable. An address of excellence where gastronomy, conviviality, and refinement come together perfectly. Fabulous lunch and of course some tremendous local wines. Particular food highlights were the Boeuf Bourguignon, the Tarte aux pommes and the Cheese.
