The owners were very friendly. We all loved our meals! I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect balance of flavors. The only downside was the slight wait for our food, but it was well worth it! I highly recommend this restaurant! Remember to book in advance as it's often full!

I absolutely loved this restaurant with its twenty or so seats. The presentation, cooking, choice of ingredients, seasonings—everything was top-notch from appetizer to dessert. It deserves a special mention in a famous guide.

Another perfect evening at L’Auguste! The meal was delicious, worthy of a Michelin star, with surprising flavors in every bite, and the prices remain very reasonable. This is our fifth visit, and each time, we haven't been disappointed! A big thank you to the chefs: discreet yet impeccably professional. A must-try!

Excellent lunch with friends on a Sunday at L’Auguste. Very good value for money, we all ate very well: the portions were generous, the dishes were tasty, authentic, and beautifully presented. The wine list was affordable and tasteful. A warm and friendly restaurant in Bourg-en-Bresse that we highly recommend!

I absolutely loved Auguste, run by two sisters! The service was discreet yet efficient. As for the food, it was simply delicious! Excellent and unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend this slightly hidden gem; it's well worth the detour.

22/01/2026: We shared a family meal here at lunchtime. We were absolutely delighted. A little gem to discover. The dishes were delicious, refined, and creative. The flavor combinations were a pure delight. The staff is kind and pleasant. The place is more than perfect, with a clean and elegant decor. Thank you to the Scratch team for a wonderful culinary experience at your establishment. Everything was perfect.
04/01/2026: A surprising experience where poetry and the delicacy of the dishes blend together. The staff is very attentive and responsive, the dining room is quiet, allowing for a peaceful conversation with my husband. We're not used to this type of restaurant (it was a gift), but we enjoyed this sensory experience.

30/12/2025: For me, the best restaurant in town...never disappointed...pleasant and attentive owners, exceptional ingredients magnificently enhanced by the cuisine. Saddened by one comment left here regarding the supposedly interminable wait time (if you don't have time, don't go to a restaurant just to annoy everyone)....moreover, if the owner makes a mistake or makes you wait, he systematically buys you champagne to apologize...and the comment doesn't mention that... I highly recommend this place. Always a delight for the taste buds.
13/12/2025: Open kitchen, interesting and varied menu, with beautifully presented dishes. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere. It's hard to find a better place in the area for fish and seafood lovers. The dishes are prepared right before your eyes: everything is ultra-fresh, straight from the sea. Surprisingly, the place isn't very crowded, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit, a place you'll want to return to again and again.
