I was treated to lunch there. A truly wonderful experience! Eight courses, including the petit fours and amuse-bouche. All excellent, with delightful flavors and combinations. The servers were pleasant and genuinely wanted us to have a great time! I highly recommend it for a fantastic culinary experience!

We enjoyed an excellent lunch on a sweltering Friday in June; the dining room was perfectly air-conditioned. The staff took exceptional care of my wife, who was still recovering from a car accident. The dishes were beautiful, delicious, and beautifully presented by the waitstaff. The wine list was excellent, featuring small producers and primarily local wines. The staff worked in a cheerful atmosphere, which was a pleasure to see. The only slight drawback was the average price, which wasn't affordable for everyone, but that's undoubtedly the price of excellence.

An absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was exceptional: warm, attentive, and highly professional. I particularly appreciated the attention paid to my request. Although the six-course menu is usually only offered in the evening, the team was kind enough to prepare it for me at lunchtime. This thoughtful touch demonstrates their desire to please their guests. The owner personally attended to me throughout the meal, with a passion and generosity that was evident in every detail. In the kitchen, her husband and his team do remarkable work, offering refined, creative, and perfectly executed gourmet cuisine. The wine selection was simply impeccable. It was my first time trying food and wine pairings, and I was absolutely not disappointed. Each pairing was perfectly chosen and enhanced the dishes beautifully. Finally, the value for money is outstanding considering the quality of the experience offered. The Scratch Restaurant in Bourg-en-Bresse is a true gem, an address I recommend without hesitation.
