What a nice surprise!
Finally, an estaminet which comes off the traditional rue de Gand and where there are inevitably fewer people.
And less difficulty parking...
The welcome is impeccable, the decoration just perfect and the cuisine simply delicious and generous.
The service is done with heart and I very warmly recommend this estaminet.
Well done !

We came Saturday noon.
Concerning the dishes, the Welsh and the carbonnade were very good, the shrimp croquettes taken as a main course
clearly lacked fondants but we were mainly disappointed by the service.
Forgot a cocktail when the drinks arrived which took more than 10 minutes to arrive.
Few fries when we were served and when we asked for more, we still had to wait a good 10 minutes.
I'm giving it 4 stars because I hope it was exceptional but I'm not sure we'll ever come back because the service is just as important as the food.

I discovered Flemish carbonnade in this restaurant and it’s a very nice discovery! The dish is very generous for a more than reasonable price, the fries were also excellent. Nothing to say! Little extra to the chef who brought us the dishes. Very nice discovery!

We were able to taste an excellent Flemish stew accompanied by fries and salad. The menu is simple and composed of typical dishes. Plus the dishes are homemade, which is exactly what we were looking for and what works! Thanks to the waitress for her welcome and thanks to the chef for serving the dishes at the table. The prices are more than reasonable. I recommend 100%!

Un estaminet qui ne paye pas de mine mais qui fait une très bonne cuisine familiale. Welsh, carbonade, potjevleesh. Tout était bon et copieux.
