Honestly, very good! The waiter was super friendly, attentive to customers, and very pleasant! The decor is typical of a traditional pub. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from a pub, with generous and tasty portions! It's a shame the sauces aren't homemade! Otherwise, I highly recommend it for the price, the quality of the food, and the service; it's very good. I'll be back.

Found by chance... Which just goes to show he does things right! The dishes are local and absolutely delicious! The welcome was perfect and the advice was excellent; I hope to return!

Good carbonnade with fries, friendly waiter. It wasn't very busy. Nothing extraordinary, but it'll do if you're looking for a quiet pub.

The service was friendly (perhaps too friendly?) but at least it was honest. The terrine was delicious, and while the main course and dessert weren't bad, they didn't quite live up to the expectations of other reviews (Flemish carbonnade and pork cheek). We still had a pleasant time, but it wasn't as excellent as we had hoped.

Great little pub! I recommend the full Welsh rarebit for those who are really hungry, you won't be disappointed!

A warm and inviting place with lots of character! The waiter was pleasant. The food was good overall, although I expected the chicken strips to be even better. The fries would benefit from homemade mayonnaise.

30/01/2026: What a pleasure... to finally sit down at this Lille institution! Monique in the kitchen and Chantal in the dining room light up this bar/restaurant. And that was on a weekday! The Sunday atmosphere was palpable in the photos taken and displayed on the walls 🤩🤩. Go there quickly and in large numbers because the "Caudinus forks" of the administration have taken their toll!!! The arrears have been very difficult to absorb ever since 👎👎
07/12/2025: A warm and welcoming restaurant with good and generous portions...beware of pickpockets if you're near the Wazemmes market...our mobile phone was stolen as we were leaving the restaurant!
