From the moment you step inside, you feel like you're in a real home. No frills, just the essentials. You don't come here to play the uptight food critic; you come to enjoy yourself. The welcome has that authentic feel that makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit. On the plate, the fish reflects the atmosphere: simple, generous, and delicious. You find that pure taste of the sea that reminds you why Boulogne-sur-Mer remains a benchmark when it comes to seafood. And then there's the moment the bill arrives… and you realize that for a good fish meal, the value for money is definitely there.

Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. One of the waitresses was incredibly friendly and easygoing, but one of the other waiters was a bit odd and almost unpleasant. I share this minor complaint, having heard from a friend who's eaten there three or four times and agrees with my assessment. Aside from that, I highly recommend the place—good food and affordable prices.

This restaurant is truly fantastic. Firstly, the food is delicious; the fresh fish comes straight from the morning's catch and is beautifully combined with equally delicious sides, sauces, and vegetables.
Thank you to Aurélie, who delighted us with her very friendly service. Bonus points also for the opening hours, which allow you to eat until early afternoon. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

A superb experience at Le Châtillon! I thoroughly enjoyed the divine, perfectly cooked sole and the simply succulent vegetable accompaniment – a true delight! The service was excellent, efficient, and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful; you can feel the spirit of the port. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Boulogne-sur-Mer.

We ate on the ground floor, which had a real brasserie atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient (our head waiter was fantastic with his charming northern French accent). The food was very well prepared, with perfectly cooked vegetables and fish. Finally, a restaurant with real cotton napkins! I hate paper napkins! It was lovely! We'll definitely be back.
