Magnificent place, everything is perfect... welcome, service, meals with very good products and more than adequate value for money. I highly recommend and remember to book in advance because it is always full.

It seems that my comment left a few days ago has disappeared...
I reiterate, the impeccable service, the sole excellent, very well cooked, the fries actually, they are frozen fries... too bad...
The shrimps are good, but be careful, it is not specified on the menu, the 5 pink shrimps (normal size) are 8€.
Small downside, these are the “bar pillars” directly at the entrance, outside.

Recommended restaurant in Port Boulogne, the operator and the cook have their hearts in the right place, the fish "au point", excellent vegetables, good bottled wines and very reasonable prices, very good service. Here you are at home ...
*...interim report from September 13, 2024, that "Croustillant de julienne, crème de poireaux, dés de saumon fumé" was out of this world. Thank you dear chefs from Chatillon, for years of consistent and ever-improving quality...fantastic handwork...

J'ai mangé au Chatillon les meilleures huîtres de mon existence... ou presque. Vraiment parfaites. Le thon snacké est parfait. Pour ces deux raisons j'attribue à ce restaurant 4* (excellent) et non 3* (moyen). Nous avons choisi la formule "menu" à 35,50€ avec un supplément de 5€ pour 5 huîtres de calibre 2. Les poissons et crustacés de la "paella locale" sont très frais mais à mon goût un peu trop cuit. Les légumes sont très bien cuisinés. Le service est très sympathique mais pas très rapide. L'endroit est agréable sans plus. J'ai trouvé le prix un peu élevé (45€ par personne au total).

Monday lunch without a reservation, got a table for 1 person (me) 30 minutes later. Best and freshest fish (églefin) I have ever eaten. Plat du jour. Very well balanced sauce and nice combination of fish and side dishes. Plenty. Service very nice and friendly. Ambiance = original = dock workers, fishermen, locals, tourists. Good mood. I enjoyed it very much.

We came to 3 absolutely need to book because it is so famous
the langoustines were incredibly fresh, the homemade terrines were high quality products, the fish/shrimp bathtubs were succulent. For the dishes, the sole was to die for, the seafood paella was delicious. For my part, I had salmon with saffron rice which was exquisite with crunchy little vegetables as desired.
The service was fast, efficient and welcoming.
To finish, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, a maritime brasserie that I
100% recommend. .
