With a group of about thirty fellow bikers, we enjoyed some excellent sweetbreads. (After booking, of course...😉) A generous portion, perfectly cooked, and a delicate dish of very high quality. 👍

We went two nights in a row, as the food was muy muy rico the first night. Both the cordero al horno para dos and the lubina para dos were estupendo. Service and cervezas were equally very good. Cinco Estrellas 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Finding a place to eat in SJPDP in the middle of November isn't easy. I went to Le Chaudron on a friend's recommendation and it was an excellent experience. Very good food and excellent service. I highly recommend it.

The only restaurant we found open on a Tuesday evening in November, and what luck! A cozy atmosphere, a very friendly welcome from the owner, and a simple yet varied menu. Whether it was the burger, the paella, or the lamb txilindron we enjoyed, everything was perfect! Well done, keep up the good work!

We received a warm welcome upon arrival. A superb place with high-quality dishes that we don't usually make at home, and excellent value for money. And spotlessly clean! It's a shame you're not closer to us 😊

06/01/2026: What wonderful service! The food was good, but for the price I expected more. For 2 people the bill came to €55. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, an appetizer and 2 main courses.
01/01/2026: Coming from Nîmes and passing through Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, we were determined to eat here. The welcome, the location, and the food were all top-notch. Everything was fully booked, but the owner found us a table between seatings inside, even though we hadn't made a reservation for January 1st. Thank you so much for awakening our taste buds! I highly recommend this place; it deserves its reputation. Thank you to the whole team!

Hotel Restaurant Central

12/12/2025: Atypical hotel, very friendly staff, magnificent location, beautiful view and the perfect room on the top floor, large comfortable bed, air-conditioned room and above all clean with air conditioning.
09/10/2025: Spent 2 nights in SJPP before starting our Camino. This hotel was in a great location and the staff was lovely and welcoming. We were lucky to get an upgrade and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Would happily recommend.
