Le Chaudron sur Saint-Jean-Pied-De-Port

Very good address. The chipiron starters are excellent. The duck breast is perfect and the atmosphere is warm. Without forgetting the Sabayon for dessert, a real treat.

The food is good even though it looks like a tourist restaurant.

What a joy to eat at Le Chaudron!! Everything is great! I discovered this restaurant 3 or 4 months ago during my monthly trips to Spain. From now on THIS restaurant has become my "pretext" to go there because it's so much fun, both outside and inside. My little pleasure, the rib of the bone to share with 2 (the best of my life) and there are always lovely suggestions for affordable dishes and wines. Ideal for couples, families and those taking a stopover. Top quality-price ratio. The kindness and sharing of the boss and staff are felt in the plate and the service. Come on ! Very well prepared dishes, really quality products. Smiling staff, speaking more Spanish than French! But hey, no one wants to work out of season anymore... In short, you will not be disappointed with your choices

We ate there in the evening, we had the burger. We had a great time, it was really very good. Now we were on a table of 2 facing the kitchen, outside. And it was embarrassing and painful to see the cook leave or look out the door every 5 minutes (we were opposite), the waitress sometimes stared at us, static at the door. Awkward too... But other than that, we came out with a good meal in our stomachs. I still recommend it, hoping that all this is not permanent.

Restaurant bien placé , pas situé sur une voie à forte circulation . On peut prendre le repas à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur . Très bien accueilli par le patron et la serveuse. Nous avons pris du Foie gras, riz de veau vraiment délicieux . Nous y reviendrons c’est sûr.

Restaurant a découvrir,un peu en retrait du centre ,carte et menu non chargé signe de qualité,je vous conseil les huîtres chaudes,un délice,lors de notre séjour a Saint Jean pied de port,nous avons découvert ce restaurant,plat régional,cuisine française et fraîche , plusieurs suggestions en ardoise et un poisson en suggestions en fonction de l arrivage ,les plats sont délicieux,le vin est a des prix abordables,je recommande vivement ce restaurant si vous passer dans la région,pour ma part je ne manquerai pas de revenir
