A wonderful experience.
The setting is lovely and very peaceful for the town. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious. A must-try if you're visiting Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

A few steps outside the center of St. Jean Pied de Port. We shared the lamb shoulder and it was excellent, accompanied by a glass of local red wine. The waitress was very friendly and the wait was well worth it! The atmosphere was peaceful, with pleasant South American music playing.

Le Chaudron is a very friendly restaurant. The owner, Jacques, is a wonderful host and was very welcoming to us. The dishes are delicious and plentiful. The sangria served as an aperitif is excellent. We go back often. A great place to eat in St Jean Pied de Port.
