Excellent establishment, the food is very good, the staff pleasant, and we were even treated to a live piano performance. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the lamb shank with mashed potatoes – a real treat.

A place that looked very nice online, but I was disappointed after ordering the €35 vegetarian soup. It consisted of mere crumbs of vegetables, three small pieces of foie gras, tiny bits of truffle, and hardly any broth. After pointing this out to the waiter, he offered me a 10% discount, making it €3.50. What a shame... the other dishes I saw on the tables looked appetizing and generous. Perhaps I'll try it again.

A great spot in Tours. The moment you step inside this brasserie, you're transported back in time: zinc bar, retro posters, an old cash register, a vintage beer tap… The servers are friendly and welcoming. The food is plentiful and excellent. We tried the bone marrow, which was truly delicious. The ribeye steak was generous, and the pepper sauce was perfectly seasoned. To finish, an incredibly good rum baba, generously soaked in rum. I'll definitely be back!

26/11/2025: A wonderful discovery during a visit near the PFG for a family funeral. A first visit was for a morning coffee, which ended with lunch where we enjoyed the pleasure of the food combined with a more than friendly welcome from everyone. Traditional and original local dishes with impeccable service. Thank you. A little souvenir from the gentleman with the serflex 😉 I highly recommend it, go there with your eyes closed and your taste buds open... I've already passed the address on to family and friends.

La Plume Blanche

22/01/2026: The best value for money in Tours. Excellent set lunch menu for €15 on weekdays. Good quality, well-presented, and generous portions. Top-notch service. Other options available. Craft beer for €4.90; you can even take away bottles with a "lemonade" style closure. Irish coffee for €7.50. The decor has a "school" feel, with several rooms, including one upstairs. Very clean establishment. I highly recommend it.
