Thank you again for your hospitality! We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. The meal was delicious! Thank you again for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and thoughtful touches. Everything was perfect!

This restaurant was a wonderful discovery. We were greeted and served with a smile, the meal was excellent and of high quality, and the price was very reasonable. The garden is beautiful and pleasant. I highly recommend it! A place to treasure.

A culinary gem is tucked away in a small side street behind Albi Cathedral. Nestled on a terrace amidst architectural monuments, the garden is truly exceptional. Lovingly tended, flowers, shrubs, and trees flourish among the gravel and fountain. We arrived 15 minutes before opening and were immediately welcomed by a waiter from the exceptionally friendly, charming, and attentive staff. Despite not having a reservation, we were allowed to choose our own table, even a four-person one, although there were only two of us – rather unusual in France. As for the food, the photos speak for themselves – it was exquisite. It should be noted that we have certainly had far worse, or at least mediocre, meals for considerably more money. The only drawback: Albi and Vienna are quite far apart.

Looking for smiles in Albi? Book Le Clos! Superb welcome, smiling staff, magnificent setting, a feast for the senses from appetizer to dessert, a special mention for the hibiscus ice cream, a gem along with the chocolate tart. I recommend it 100%!

An address we never tire of returning to. My partner and I go back regularly, and the restaurant lives up to its promise every time—which, let's face it, isn't all that common. The setting plays a big part: just steps from the cathedral, the terrace has that warm, inviting feel that makes you want to linger for hours, and inside, the atmosphere is just as welcoming. We've tried different dishes on each visit, and the common thread is local, short-supply-chain products, which give each dish a real identity: you can taste it, and it makes all the difference. As for the price, you'd almost expect to pay more for this level of quality—and yet the bill remains reasonable. But what truly sets it apart is the service: the waiters go out of their way to ensure we have a table and receive a warm welcome, without ever giving the impression of being rushed. In short, a restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend.

The welcome was absolutely perfect...smiling, very kind, and very accommodating to those with allergies...incredibly friendly...well-organized, with excellent and beautifully cooked products. A feast for the eyes and the taste buds...a must-try...thank you for this wonderful time spent with you...keep up the good work!

UPDATE JUNE 2026: A year later, the restaurant is still exceptional, both in terms of its setting and its cuisine. The €36 set menu is definitely worth checking out! Divine foie gras... as are the pastries. Go for it! What more can we say, except that we found all the ingredients for a wonderful culinary experience. Magnificent setting in a shaded garden at the foot of the cathedral. Homemade cuisine with excellent local products. Efficient and friendly service that knows how to share its passion for good food. We'll be back!
