The restaurant is revealed at the end of an uninviting corridor, but the inner courtyard is very pleasant for a lovely evening. The cassoulet was excellent and the service efficient.

Everything was perfect…the food was excellent. Impeccable service with very welcoming waiters.
Special mention for the "poor man's mashed potatoes" and the profiterole-style canelés.

A truly wonderful place. It's hard to choose, as all the dishes look so tempting! They serve local, homemade food. The welcome is warm, and the shaded terrace is lovely. Be sure to book!

A hidden gem in Albi.
I've been coming to Lou Sicret for over 25 years, and the magic is still there. Nestled in the heart of Albi's pedestrian streets, at the end of a cul-de-sac, its shaded terrace is a true haven of peace where, for the duration of a meal, time seems to stand still.
The Occitan cuisine is generous, authentic, and prepared with love. Special mention goes to their must-try "purée du pauvre" (poor man's purée), a signature dish that I enjoy every time I visit. The wine list is always tastefully chosen to perfectly complement this fine local cuisine.
The service is impeccable: warm, friendly, and attentive. Thank you to the entire team for these precious moments. A must-visit in Albi!

Be careful with the cooking of your lamb shanks; they were overcooked, and the seasoning was lacking in salt for my taste. The service was quick but adequate. We had a pleasant evening in a lovely setting.
