Recommended by our hotel, we weren't disappointed. The welcome was warm, as was the decor of the dining room. Given the season, we didn't get to enjoy the terrace, which looks lovely, situated on a small private square at the end of a little passageway – it's very pretty. As for the food, the "assiette du pauvre" (poor man's platter) was excellent, the cassoulet too, and the unexpected dessert: cannelé profiteroles – to die for! 😅 Thank you!

Excellent restaurant with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Nestled in the heart of Albi, it serves generous and high-quality cuisine. The "poor man's mashed potatoes" are only poor in name...!! 😅 Special mention for the staff's sense of humor.
Highly recommended.

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were delighted. The typical regional dishes were truly excellent; the "paupier's mashed potatoes" were a real treat, not to mention the cassoulet and the duck pancarnat. We received a warm welcome and excellent advice on wine and aperitifs. If we're ever back in Albi again, you can be sure we'll return.

Lunch for four. Excellent traditional dishes (cassoulet, etc.), top-notch service, superb local wheat beer, and a very pleasant setting with a lovely, quiet terrace. A must-try!
