A perfect map for exploring the region. We were greeted by a friendly and very helpful waiter. The cassoulet was delicious and very generous. The terrace was peaceful.

After spending a week eating at various restaurants in Albi, Lou Sicret is our favorite. We thoroughly enjoyed their authentic, home-style cooking! The service is very pleasant, all within a charming and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates traditional cuisine! It's a place we'll definitely be returning to.

A family meal? I'd never experienced that before. This was my first visit. The setting is lovely, and the welcome was warm. Despite the late hour, the heatwave was oppressive on the terrace. A good meal and a pleasant time nonetheless. Remember to book ahead; it's best, as the place is well-known.

A place you stumble upon by chance and return to for the sheer pleasure of it. A menu typical of Southwest France, with products that are so tempting just by looking at it. Local appellations, distinctive products of exceptional quality. Despite a simple yet highly effective menu, it's hard to know what to choose. The welcome, the decor, and the service are top-notch. The prices are very reasonable for discovering the region's specialties. I highly recommend it and give it a 10, of course.

05/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We just ate at Café de la Préfecture and had a fantastic time. The dishes were truly delicious, well-prepared, and flavorful. High-quality cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff.
04/09/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant where you're greeted with a smile, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a shaded terrace right in the city center, and where the food is simple, fresh, varied (and delicious), head straight to Café de la Préfecture. It's a family-run establishment, but very professional, where the service is quick and efficient. You'll feel right at home and enjoy a great meal at a very reasonable price. There aren't many places like this left, so take advantage of it while you can!

08/09/2026: First and foremost, I want to highlight the excellent welcome from all the staff, despite our late arrival for lunch. We enjoyed the salad and dessert of the day, which were both delicious. The terrace is a real plus. We will gladly return to try the evening menu. Thank you.
07/09/2026: Lunch today on their shaded terrace. A lovely discovery thanks to our son and daughter-in-law. A very good meal.
