Delicious mango coconut. The sausage rougail was excellent, and to finish, the homemade infused rum. Highly recommended.

It's always a pleasure to come to Cofy. The dishes and desserts are homemade (a lovely touch is the mint leaf that proudly adorns the dessert), the service is quick and always with a smile. Special mention goes to John, the incredibly handsome and remarkably efficient waiter.

The meal was decent, good value for money, and served quickly for lunchtime... except that when it came time to pay, all the time saved by the good service vanished into an endless wait at the till: regulars were given priority, they were fawned over while everyone else waited... and they even let other people go ahead of them! No, I don't recommend it 👎

Excellent experience. Friday night = Creole cuisine. The dishes were truly excellent and not too spicy. The hot sauces are served on the side. And a small complimentary homemade rum punch was very good. A wonderful discovery. If you're ever in Bourg-en-Bresse, don't hesitate. The staff is very friendly. Excellent evening! 😀😀😀

We went there one evening as a family. A very good time, pleasant service, and the food was good. The desserts were a little less impressive than the rest, but it's still a 5-star restaurant.

21/04/2026: Today, a delicious and incredibly fresh daily menu, full of character and at a very reasonable price. A warm and pleasant atmosphere inside, and very attentive service. Delighted to have discovered Le Jacobin.
30/03/2026: Very nice, very good food, the wines are too expensive, but that's a French problem... Restaurateurs, do you really want to kill French winemaking? No, sorry, I don't agree with your answer. You're looking at the problem backwards. A real moral and economic prohibition is being imposed on wine in restaurants. Prices have become absurd; wine by the glass is an absolute rip-off. This is completely destroying consumption... Again, I can drink water with my meal, but I can do that at home... Other neighboring countries like Spain or Italy can offer house wines at very reasonable prices... Your profit margins are excessive (this isn't specific to you) and counterproductive. I don't understand why there isn't more awareness of this...
