Le comptoir sur Laguiole

22/03/2024: “Nature acts, man does”, this is the definition of Maison Bras in Laguiole Aubrac. A culinary enchantment that begins with the magic of the aperitif in this spaceship which was astonishing at the time, but which today proves that the Bras are not only artists but visionaries. The vegetable menu with the obligatory Gargouillou remains my favorite? I replace the coulant with its original, more classic chocolate version. The service is youthful and gives priority to the plate and the exceptional view. On the wine side, far from label drinkers, the sommelier director of the restaurant knows how to pair dishes according to your budget. A peaceful “blue light” like the peaceful sky surrounds the guests (not the customers for the Bras) who leave with stars in their eyes. Unquestionably our favorite restaurant whose prices remain consistent, despite dozens of three-star restaurants visited around the world. Thanks to the Bras family and the team. Wow!!
