An exceptional dinner at Le Suquet. A wonderful setting; we were treated to a fabulous sunset over the Aubrac plateau. A meal bursting with flavor, served by kind, efficient, and smiling staff who were never stuffy. The cuisine is exquisitely refined. You'll never look at your salad the same way again! And the cooking was masterful! Truly, an unforgettable experience.

Fabulous on every level. They even give you a tour of the kitchens at the beginning. The rest was magnificent, and they even gave us a bread roll with our name on it. One of the best restaurants. Why did Michelin take away the stars? It honestly deserves 3... Anyway, the restaurant was full. Honestly, go there, it's wow!

Beautiful setting, magnificent room at first glance, but ultimately not as functional as it seemed. The 4-star service was completely inadequate and even quite disappointing. On the plus side: lovely view, the TV hidden in a false closet is very clever and attractive, and the dressing area is well-designed. Negative: The terrace offers zero privacy as it's completely overlooked on both sides. The bathtub is merely pretty but offers zero comfort in use (no headrest, no armrest, and a push-up drain in the middle, directly under your bottom, so you have to empty it yourself, and the shower head can't be adjusted). Regarding service: there was no luggage cart, and access to the room was through a huge, dark corridor (the lights didn't work). The young man who showed us to our room didn't insist on helping us with our luggage at all, and it was raining... The reception number listed in the room never answered, even 30 minutes after our arrival. The hotel reception, located on the ground floor (basement depending on the access point), is only ephemeral: by late afternoon, at 5 PM, it was completely closed. The bathtub soap dispenser was empty upon our arrival. The floor lights in the room flickered intermittently (probably a loose connection, but extremely annoying in the long run). The TV lost its connection... Right in the middle of the chosen film (around 10 pm) and didn't return for the rest of the evening, frustrating... All this without any possibility of contacting anyone. Very surprising for a hotel at this price: 500 euros a night without breakfast. When booking online: same problem: impossible to contact them to change the reservation date due to a typo. They only answer on certain days (phone AND email), unheard of! Breakfast is an extra: 36 euros per person: table service on the same principle as the gourmet meal: not much choice, you're served. You don't feel comfortable or free. Upon arrival, we were asked if we wanted water or fruit juice. I said: good idea, fruit juice... so no bottle of water, we had to choose (I observed the other tables: same thing: one OR the other). A bread basket was placed there by default: I would have preferred several slices of bread rather than one croissant and one... Chocolatier: Too bad for me... Some cereals in a light buffet style, and not what I wanted, too bad for me. Some cheeses and cold cuts in a very light savory buffet style: few slices, so thin, you don't really dare to serve yourself, and not what I like, too bad for me. We were asked if we wanted eggs: great, I said yes, scrambled: the waiter ordered one scrambled egg: I would have liked two, too bad. In short, the service, once again, was more pretentious than attentive. Final disappointment: At check-out, we weren't even asked: "How was your stay?" Seeing no openness from the staff on this subject, I asked for the reception number and then explained that when we arrived in the room, no one had answered it: I was simply told that the number was shared by the hotel and the restaurant, and that if the person was busy taking payments in the restaurant, they couldn't answer. They replied... that indeed there was no one at the hotel reception downstairs... unbelievable... And they never even asked us why we had tried to contact them... that's what I call 4-star customer service, they don't care about customer feedback at all!!!! Extremely disappointed.

The restaurant is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's unique. The view is exceptional. But it's still very expensive, especially the drinks.

Le Suquet remains a unique experience. The setting is magnificent, the ambiance impressive without being ostentatious, the welcome very professional, and the cuisine truly refined. We had an excellent time, and the service was particularly attentive throughout the meal. We chose the six-course Aubrac menu. My wife, unsure if she would be able to finish the entire menu, asked if it would be possible to remove one course. The maître d'hôtel very kindly replied that he would check with the kitchen and that there was no problem. The meal went perfectly, and we left delighted. It was only a few days later, reflecting on the experience and looking at the bill, that we noticed both menus had been charged in full despite the removed course. I am not questioning the quality of the establishment or the experience itself, which was remarkable. However, for a house of this caliber and price, I would have found it more elegant to have been informed from the outset that the price would remain unchanged, or at least to have received a small gesture of goodwill. This leaves a slightly mixed impression at the end, which is a shame considering the overall quality of the experience.

Excellence and authenticity without any frills! An exceptional culinary experience with impeccable service. A truly magical moment overlooking the Aubrac plateau. Everything was perfect. The icing on the cake was the short tour of the kitchens before lunch and the chance to meet Sébastien Bras himself—a true honor!
